The Paul VI College was founded in the 1960s thanks to the will of the pope of the same name, designed by Giò Ponti. The residence is located in a quiet period neighbourhood not far from the Catholic University, which can therefore be reached in a few minutes on foot or by public transport.

The Paul VI College was founded in the 1960s thanks to the will of the Pope of the same name, based on a project by Giò Ponti. The residence is located in a quiet period neighbourhood not far from the Catholic University, which can therefore be reached in a few minutes on foot or by public transport.
There are numerous communal spaces available to the students, aimed at sharing and creating a cohesive community.
The rooms, most of which are single with private bathroom, make it possible to combine the need for normal privacy with the possibility of sharing spaces in which to stay as a group, such as the kitchens available on each floor.

President Asia Farucci and Vice President Laura Datti represent all the female residents throughout the entire academic year.
Their main responsibilities are to convene the general assembly of residents, set its agenda and oversee its proceedings, and draw up the minutes.
They also chair the Organising Committee and coordinate the activities of the various committees, working closely with their respective heads.
They are expected to be consistently present and available and, above all, to do their best to address the needs, problems and requests of the residents.
Cultural Commission
Heads: Maria Sole Montone, Larissa Sabatino
The Cultural Committee aims to provide opportunities to reflect on and explore issues related to the contemporary world. Organising events within the college and cultural outings, selecting films and/or documentary series, and publishing the college newsletter are all activities that encourage residents to pause and reflect, broaden their horizons, and actively experience the spirit of collaboration that makes them protagonists in college life.
The committee is organised into several subcommittees, including one dedicated to publishing the college newsletter and proposing visits to museums and exhibitions around the city.
Conference Committee
Heads: Chiara Camilleri, Maria Rita Giarratano
The Conference Committee is responsible for devising, organising and promoting opportunities for in-depth exploration and discussion of topics of common interest, starting from the theme of the year.
In particular, it focuses on organising conferences and meetings with guest speakers and experts, arranging debates and discussion sessions, and planning film discussion events, with the aim of encouraging dialogue, reflection and participation.
The committee works in close collaboration with the College Management, contributing to the planning and implementation of various initiatives designed to foster the exchange of different perspectives.
Logistics and Recreation Committee
Heads: Fatma Almodhaweb, Anna Rossi, Maria Gabriella Savino
The Logistics and Recreation Committee is dedicated to creating opportunities for relaxation and recreation beyond the daily routine of studying. Some of the activities it organises include:
- Organising parties and celebrations within the college.
- Organising social events with other residential colleges.
- Creating games and activities involving all residents (e.g. murder mystery dinners).
The committee is also responsible for managing the college’s spaces and materials, supporting event planning, and coordinating all the practical aspects that make everyday life easier and more enjoyable.
It is also important to communicate to the outside world what happens within the college. For this reason, the committee manages the college’s social media channels, contributing to its public image and online presence.
Through content creation, event promotion, photos, videos and stories about everyday life, the committee shares what goes on inside the college.
Liturgical Committee
Heads: Benedetta Berselli, Rosa Maria Raffaele
The Liturgical Committee aims to shape the spiritual journey of the college community throughout the academic year. Specifically, it:
- Offers opportunities for reflection to support each resident’s journey of faith.
- Promotes experiences of listening and sharing, helping residents discover the beauty of being together in the search for the Face of God.
- Encourages and supports participation in celebrations marking significant moments in the liturgical year.
- Welcomes and supports initiatives proposed by the University’s Pastoral Centre.
- Takes part in selected initiatives organised by the local Church and remains open to learning about the guidance and teachings of the Universal Church.
- Contributes to the preparation of community celebrations, shared with other residential colleges during the important liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent.
Volunteering Committee
Heads: Chiara Angelini, Gaia Maiorana
The Volunteering Committee was established with the aim of fostering a desire to serve others. Its ultimate goal is therefore to cultivate a culture of volunteering and raise awareness of the needs of others in everyday life through practical experience and information.
The primary means of achieving these objectives is volunteering itself, which allows residents to experience first-hand the various forms of suffering and hardship present in our society.
This takes place through collaboration with organisations such as the Penny Wirton School, the Mani Tese Association, the Community of Sant’Egidio and AIL (Italian Association Against Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma).
Intercultural Committee
Heads: Angelica Tessitore, Adhisha Vig
The Intercultural Committee was established to contribute to the holistic development of each individual, while also responding to the needs of female students from other countries who wish to become involved in college life.
The committee’s objectives are to integrate and include international students in the activities of the educational programme and to encourage them to take an active role within the committee itself.
The group is diverse, bringing together students from different countries and Italian students. The activities proposed draw inspiration from those organised by the other committees within the college, with particular attention to the cultural backgrounds of international students.
In this way, all committees are encouraged to collaborate and exchange ideas when planning upcoming events.
